Phthiotis: Search for three missing climbers in Athanasios Diakos area

An alert has been issued to the Fire Department for three climbers who are missing in the Athanasios Diakos area, in Phthiotis. The three friends set out to explore the area on Christmas morning and have not shown any signs of life since then.

According to lamiareport.gr, the climbers are from cities outside Fokida. Communication with them is impossible as their mobile phones have no signal.

Firefighters from the local services of Amfissa and Lidoriki, the Mountaineering Team of the 7th EMAK are participating in the search, while drones from Larissa are also being used since Friday morning. Difficult weather conditions prevail in the area.
