Taxi Driver Attacked by Tourist at Chania Airport

A taxi driver was attacked by a tourist at Chania Airport. According to reports, the tourist wanted to board a taxi van, while he had been directed to a smaller taxi. Following a heated argument, the tourist allegedly punched the driver in the face.

Other taxi drivers rushed to help their colleague, while the tourist was arrested and taken to the Chania Police Department.

The incident was captured on video.
