Molotov Cocktail Attack at Jumbo in Marousi – Minor Damage

An arson attack occurred at a Jumbo store in Marousi in the early morning hours. Unknown individuals placed an improvised device with gas canisters at the entrance of the store located on Andrea Papandreou Street.

The Fire Department immediately mobilized, with 18 firefighters and 7 vehicles rushing to the scene. The fire, caused by the explosion, was quickly contained. Minor material damage was caused to the store entrance and a figure.

For about half an hour, traffic on Andrea Papandreou Street was conducted in one lane.
