Greece: Search Continues for Missing 16-year-old Laura

The Hellenic Police (ELAS) continue their search for 16-year-old Laura, who disappeared on January 8th from Patras. Authorities believe Laura is in Athens, possibly in the Zografou area, and potentially within the University campus (Panepistimioupoli).

According to a witness, Laura reportedly appeared in the Vari area. A café owner stated that he saw her twice in his shop. The first time, she ordered coffee and looked at her mobile phone. The second time, she quickly left when she saw a report about her disappearance on television.

Classmates of Laura reported that she had problems with her father. One classmate stated that she was "very pressured by her dad" and that her father looked at her phone and set limits. A former classmate reported that Laura was subjected to psychological violence and said "I can't take it anymore, I don't know what to do."
