Yiannis Malamas Released Pending Trial

Yiannis Malamas, son of Sokratis Malamas, has been released pending his trial, which is scheduled for September 18. The 20-year-old was arrested in Athens for an incident involving police officers.

According to the police, Yiannis Malamas allegedly resisted arrest and injured a police officer. A case file was formed against him for violence against employees, insult, threat, and bodily harm.

The incident began with a taxi driver's complaint of damage and verbal abuse. During the inspection, Yiannis Malamas allegedly insulted the police officers.
