Greek Police Raid Illegal Gambling Den in Kypseli, Two Arrests

The Hellenic Police (ELAS) raided an illegal gambling den in Kypseli, Attica, on January 13, 2026, arresting two individuals.

According to the ELAS announcement, a 65-year-old woman participating in a game of chance and a 45-year-old foreign national responsible for the club were arrested. The premises had no external signage, tinted windows, and a controlled entry system.

During the search, 21 computers, 3 cameras, a recording device, and handwritten notes with amounts of money and players' names were confiscated. The arrested individuals were led to the Public Prosecutor.

ELAS announced that the operation was carried out by police officers of the Kypseli Crime Prosecution and Investigation Department, following information about the operation of an illegal gambling club in the area.
