Exarcheia: 24-year-old Surrenders for Stabbing Kiosk Owner

A 24-year-old man surrendered to the police, confessing to stabbing a kiosk owner during a robbery in Exarcheia on April 13, 2026.
The 24-year-old voluntarily appeared at the Attica General Police Directorate and admitted to his act.
According to the police, the perpetrator attempted to steal items from a kiosk at the intersection of Hippocratous and Alexandras streets. The 50-year-old kiosk employee, originally from Bangladesh, tried to stop him, resulting in the 24-year-old stabbing him in the thigh.
Immediate Action police officers provided first aid to the injured man, applying a tourniquet to stop the bleeding. The injured man was then transferred to the Red Cross, where he underwent surgery.
