Mother's Plea for 16-year-old Laura: 'Give us a Sign'

The Amber Alert continues for 16-year-old Laura Lomtef, who disappeared from Patras on January 8, 2026. Her mother is making a public appeal, asking for a sign of life.

Authorities are examining new evidence and testimonies, focusing their investigations on Athens and the possibility of a third party involvement. The family's lawyer denies abuse scenarios and emphasizes that Laura was helped to get to Athens.

Laura was last seen in the Zografou area. Security cameras recorded her moving alone and trying to sell jewelry. Investigations are continuing at airports, ports and KTEL stations.

Journalist Angeliki Nikolouli requested information about a taxi driver who transported Laura from Zografou to Omonia. Investigations are also being carried out for bus routes to Germany.

A month before her disappearance, Laura had photographed her passport, a detail being examined by the authorities.
