The prosecutor has requested the conviction of Father Antonios and four other defendants for physical and psychological abuse of children at "Kivotos tou Kosmou" during the secondary trial.

The prosecutor of the Athens Three-Member Court of Appeal for Misdemeanors, Panagiota Simigianni, proposed the conviction of Father Antonios for acts allegedly committed in NGO structures in Volos and Athens. Conversely, she requested acquittal for charges relating to incidents in Chios and the full acquittal of two defendants.

In her speech, the prosecutor stressed that "everything went through his hands" of Father Antonios, describing him as the "central figure and leader of Kivotos tou Kosmou." She requested his conviction for moral instigation of bodily harm against minors.

In the first instance, Father Antonios was sentenced to 51 months in prison, while his associates received lesser sentences.
