Edessa: 54-year-old dead in car accident

A 54-year-old man died in a car accident in Edessa when the car he was driving veered off course on a rural road in Rizo, Skydra Pella municipality. The tragic incident occurred shortly after 7 p.m.

The Fire Service extricated the man unconscious. He was then transported by ambulance to the hospital of Edessa, where doctors pronounced him dead.
