Two Injured in Knife Attacks in Galatsi, Athens

Two people were injured in separate knife attacks in Galatsi, Athens, on Saturday evening (February 7). According to reports, a 32-year-old was attacked on Kourtiou Street and taken to Evangelismos Hospital with a penetrating wound to the buttock. The knife was found on Stephanopoulou Street.
Shortly after, a 25-year-old was attacked on Parthenopis Street after being asked "what team do you support?" The young man was also taken to Evangelismos Hospital with minor injuries.
Police are investigating whether the two incidents are related. The investigation is being conducted by the Sports Violence Subdirectorate.
