Dimitris Lignadis: Trial Adjourned Again at Appeals Court

The trial of Dimitris Lignadis at the Athens Appeals Court has been adjourned to June 5th due to the absence of his lawyers. The former artistic director of the National Theatre faces charges of rape.
Dimitris Lignadis was initially convicted of raping two minors in 2015, while acquitted on other charges. The Prosecutor's Office has appealed his acquittal regarding the case of the 16-year-old. He remains free with a suspended sentence.
During today's proceedings at the Appeals Court, Dimitris Lignadis was accompanied by his brother, Giannis Lignadis.
