Filippidis Trial: Prosecutor on Second Attempted Rape Charge

The prosecutor's statement in the trial of Petros Filippidis has concluded, including his proposal regarding the second attempted rape. This followed a previous recommendation for acquittal regarding the first attempted rape charge.

The statement by Prosecutor Karaflos concerns the attempted rape allegedly committed in August 2014 against a colleague. According to the charge, Petros Filippidis met with the actress in Psychiko for professional reasons and then drove her to a dead end in Palaio Psychiko, where he allegedly attempted to rape her.

During the previous session, the Prosecutor referred to contradictions in the actress's testimony regarding the attempted rape at the Mousouri Theater in 2010.

Following the completion of the prosecutor's statement, the lawyers' pleadings will follow, and a date will be set for the announcement of the decision.
