The trial of Petros Filippidis continues with the summation of Prosecutor Andreas Karaflos at the Mixed Jury Court of Appeal. The Prosecutor is expected to submit his recommendation regarding the second attempted rape charge against the actor.

Having already recommended the acquittal of Petros Filippidis on the first attempted rape charge, the Prosecutor is concluding his summation on the case that initially led to an 8-year prison sentence.

Mr. Karaflos's recommendation concerns the attempted rape allegedly committed in August 2014 against a colleague. According to the indictment, Petros Filippidis met with the actress for professional reasons at a shop in Psychiko and, after the meeting, offered to drive her home. Instead, he drove her to a dead-end alley in Paleo Psychiko where he attempted to rape her.

The actress claims she avoided the rape by feigning a panic attack.

During the previous session, the Prosecutor stated that the actress's account of the attempted rape at the Mousouri Theater in 2010 presents inconsistencies and doubts.

Following the completion of the prosecutor's recommendation, the lawyers' summations will follow, and the court will set a date for the announcement of the decision.
