Acharnes: Juvenile Gang Robbed Drivers – 9 Arrests

A juvenile criminal organization involved in robberies and thefts has been dismantled in Acharnes. The police operation led to the arrest of 9 minors, while 5 more members of the gang are wanted.

According to the Hellenic Police (EL.AS), the gang immobilized passing drivers by placing obstacles on the road and using physical violence to steal money and personal belongings. In some cases, particularly harsh violence was used, with wood and other objects.

In addition, the accused committed burglaries, breaking down doors and stealing jewelry and electronic devices. The investigation revealed 23 cases of robbery and 12 thefts.

The arrested individuals were led to the competent Prosecutor.
