Tragedy in Achaia, where a 3-year-old child, little Andreas, lost his life after falling from a two-meter-high wall in the Agios Nikolaos Spaton area. His 25-year-old relative, who was holding him, is in a state of shock.

According to testimonies, the 25-year-old "became dizzy and stumbled," causing both of them to fall. Little Andreas was initially taken to the Kato Achaia Health Center and then to the Karaman Children's Hospital in Patras, where he was found to have severe head injuries. Despite the doctors' efforts, the child died.

The 25-year-old was also injured and taken to the "Agios Andreas" hospital. A case file was opened against him for manslaughter by negligence, but he was released by order of the prosecutor, as the family does not wish to prosecute him.

The forensic examination confirmed that the death was due to severe head injuries, consistent with a fall from a height. The Western Achaia Police continue their investigations.

"I cannot justify myself for what happened... It will follow me for a lifetime," the 25-year-old said through his lawyer.
