Apostolos Lytras: Luxury Yacht Sinks off Santorini Coast

Well-known criminal lawyer Apostolos Lytras and his wife faced a harrowing experience when their yacht suffered a mechanical failure and ran aground off the coast of Santorini on Tuesday, August 5th.

According to Mr. Lytras, the yacht's steering malfunctioned, leading to the collision. His wife, Dora Voyiatzaki, sustained minor injuries as the yacht began to sink.

Apostolos Lytras was formally arrested and released, while the Prosecutor was immediately informed of the incident. The yacht, a 13-meter vessel named Apalouza, was equipped with all modern amenities and frequently used by the lawyer for summer getaways.

The yacht featured cabins, a wooden deck, and comfortable sofas. Its maintenance cost approximately 10,000 euros annually.

Apostolos Lytras had recently married Dora Papadopoulou at an estate in Vari, a few months after his divorce from Sofia Polyzogopoulou.
