Trial for Alkis Kampanos Case Postponed to 2026

The trial for the Alkis Kampanos case at the Thessaloniki Court of Appeals has been postponed to October 23, 2026.
Incidents occurred outside the Thessaloniki Courthouse during the transfer of the defendants.
The twelve young PAOK fans are back in the dock, seven of whom were initially sentenced to life imprisonment, and the remaining five to temporary prison sentences.
The head of the Thessaloniki Court of Appeals Prosecutor's Office, Nikos Kallidis, appealed against the decision, requesting the imposition of higher penalties and the reclassification of charges for some of the defendants.
