Eastern Mani: Cannabis Plantation with 2,000+ Seedlings, 4 Arrests

In Eastern Mani, police dismantled a criminal group cultivating cannabis seedlings. Four people were arrested.

A total of 2,257 cannabis seedlings, up to 1.70 meters high, were seized in a specially designed area. The arrested individuals, a 61-year-old local and three foreigners aged 20, 31, and 39, are accused of criminal organization and drug offenses.

During searches of the residences and possessions of the arrested, a small amount of cannabis, a hunting rifle, agricultural equipment, 150 euros, five mobile phones, and two vehicles were found. The case is being investigated by the Department of Drug Prosecution and Crime Investigation of Sparti.
