Heraklion: 55-Year-Old Found Dead in Ammoudara Sea

A 55-year-old man was found dead in Ammoudara, Heraklion, Crete. The man was discovered unconscious in the sea.

An ambulance crew (EKAB) arrived immediately at the scene and attempted to revive him with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid, but without success, according to neakriti.gr.

The 55-year-old was transported to the Venizelio Hospital in Heraklion, where doctors pronounced him dead.

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated by the competent authorities. A forensic examination is expected to be carried out.
