Amfilochia: 51-year-old woman murdered by her relative

Shock in Amfilochia after the murder of a 51-year-old woman by her 54-year-old relative. The tragic incident occurred outside the woman's home, when the perpetrator shot her with a hunting rifle and then committed suicide.

According to testimonies, the perpetrator and victim had argued earlier. The perpetrator allegedly waited for the 51-year-old outside her home in Pigadia village and shot her. The woman's husband, who arrived at the scene, was in shock.

The president of the Perdikaki community, Panagiotis Kapoulas, stated that he was shocked by the event, emphasizing that the village is small and the residents are like a family. The perpetrator's family was forced to leave the village due to social outcry.
