Albanians Cultivated Cannabis Plants in Pogoni – Video

A plantation with 1,650 cannabis plants was discovered in a wooded area of Agia Marina Pogoniou, near the Greek-Albanian border. The operation was carried out by the Narcotics Subdivision of D.A.O.E. in cooperation with the Albanian police.
According to reports, Albanians were crossing the border to tend to the plantation. They could not be arrested during the operation, but one arrest was made in Albania.
The plants, ranging from 1 to 3 meters in height, were seized and burned. The E.K.A.M. and the Fire Department also participated in the operation. The preliminary investigation is being conducted by the Narcotics Subdivision of D.A.O.E.
