Alimos: Drunk Driver Crashes into 11 Cars, Residents Intervene

A chaotic scene unfolded in Alimos on Clean Monday afternoon when a drunk driver crashed into 11 parked cars. Local residents managed to stop her.

According to MEGA, the 60-year-old driver was arrested and will be brought before the prosecutor. The breathalyzer test showed 0.85 on the first reading and 0.70 on the second, far exceeding the legal limit of 0.25.

Witnesses reported that the driver's car collided with parked vehicles, causing significant material damage. One eyewitness described how he had to enter the car from the passenger seat to remove the keys from the ignition.

The driver reportedly told eyewitnesses that she had "lost her mother" and asked them to have pity on her. However, local residents stopped her until the police arrived.
