Aigio: Peritonitis and Ischemic Episode in Boxer's Autopsy

The autopsy of the 43-year-old boxer, Periklis Nikolaou, who attacked an orthopedist in Aigio, showed that his death was due to peritonitis and an ischemic episode.

Nikolaou had attacked a doctor in the Emergency Department on Friday, disagreeing with the treatment of his problem. Police filed a case, but Nikolaou escaped and was wanted.

He was eventually found dead at his home on Sunday by his relatives.
