33-year-old Doctor Missing in Crete: Search Continues

The search continues for the 33-year-old doctor, Alexis Tsikopoulos, who has been missing since December. Alexis Tsikopoulos worked at the Venizelio Hospital in Heraklion and last contacted his family on December 7, 2025.

His car was found with a breakdown in a village in Apokoronas, but he has not been located. A Silver Alert has been issued and the search involves the police, fire department, EMAK and drones.

His mother remains in Chania and appeals to anyone who knows anything to contact the police. According to reports, Alexis was facing a personal issue and had stopped medication.
