Agios Nikolaos, Crete: Israeli Tourist Removes Anti-Zionism Banner

An incident occurred in Agios Nikolaos, Crete, when an Israeli tourist, disembarking from the cruise ship Crown Iris, removed a banner with an anti-Zionism message from a store. The banner read: "Peaceful Jews welcome – Zionist killers go home."

According to reports, the tourist also attempted to use violence against a woman at the scene and caused damage to store equipment. The man was detained by the police but released on the order of a prosecutor. The Crown Iris departed without the passenger.
