WindEurope: ā¬1.6 Trillion Savings with Renewable Energy System
According to a new study by WindEurope in collaboration with Hitachi Energy, an energy system largely based on Renewable Energy Sources (RES) is the most cost-effective solution for Europe.
The study highlights that, considering the costs of networks, energy storage, and other parameters, transitioning to a system with a high share of RES could save Europe ā¬1.6 trillion.
This demonstrates that RES are not only a necessity for the green transition and addressing the climate crisis, but also an economically viable option for meeting growing energy needs.
