A massive wildfire, estimated to have burned nearly 1,000 acres, is raging in Arizona. The fire, dubbed the 'Hazen Fire,' started on Saturday and spread rapidly due to strong winds.

According to the independent, the fire started around 3 p.m. and quickly expanded. As of Monday (May 4), it had not been contained.

Residents describe the situation as a 'war zone,' with ash falling from the sky. One resident, Noah Hill, reported that the flames were approaching residential areas.

Winds, with speeds up to 50 km/h, hampered firefighting efforts, forcing a helicopter to land. Arizona Public Service (APS) temporarily shut down power lines as a precaution.

So far, no injuries have been reported, and no evacuation orders have been issued. Firefighters are working to prevent further spread of the fire.
