A scientist claims to have solved the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle, an area in the Atlantic Ocean where ships and planes have disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

The Bermuda Triangle is located between Florida, Puerto Rico, and Bermuda. Rumors began in 1918 when the USS Cyclops disappeared.

Dr. Simon Boxall, an oceanographer from the University of Southampton, believes the disappearances are due to "rogue waves" up to 30 meters high, which can sink a ship in minutes. Dr. Boxall built a model of the USS Cyclops and found it could be broken in two by such a wave.
