Paphos Fires: Barrage in Pelathousa, Episkopi, Tsada, Pitargou

A barrage of fires broke out in the Paphos district within a few minutes. According to the Fire Service, the fire in Pelathousa burned seven hectares of land. Fires also broke out in Episkopi, Tsada, and Pitargou.

All fires were brought under control. The Chief Fire Officer requested support from the Police and the National Guard for patrols. Mr. Kettis informed the Minister of Justice and the General Coordinator of fire management.
