Fire in Alassa, Limassol: Difficult Extinguishing Due to Winds

A fire broke out in dry grass near Alassa, Limassol. The fire, in a difficult-to-access area, is being hampered by strong winds, according to Andreas Kettis of the Fire Service.

Four vehicles responded immediately, and a partial recall of personnel was initiated due to increased needs. Reinforcements are expected from the Department of Forests, Civil Defense, and the KITAS volunteer team.

A tanker from the District Administration will assist in supplying water.
