Very High Fire Risk Tomorrow in Several Regions

A very high fire risk (category 4) is predicted for tomorrow in Attica, Peloponnese, Central Greece, Crete, North and South Aegean, according to the General Secretariat of Civil Protection.
Specifically, the following areas are at 'orange' alert:
- Region of Attica
- Region of Peloponnese (Corinthia, Argolis, Arcadia, Laconia)
- Region of Central Greece (Phthiotis, Boeotia, Phocis, Evia and the island of Skyros)
- Region of Crete
- Region of North Aegean (Lesvos, Chios, Samos, Ikaria)
- Region of South Aegean (Cyclades)
The General Secretariat has informed state services, municipalities and regions to take measures. The Fire Service appeals to citizens to be careful and avoid actions that could cause a fire due to negligence.
The 2nd stage of operational readiness of the Fire Service is being implemented, with patrols and partial alert of the personnel of the Fire Services.
High risk (category 3) exists in the rest of the island country and in areas of mainland Greece.
