Environmental Concerns over Kushner's Albania Tourism Project

International environmental organizations are protesting against the tourism mega-project of Jared Kushner, son-in-law of former US President Donald Trump, on an island in Albania.
In a letter to Edi Rama, 41 organizations from 28 countries express concern about the impact of the project on Sason (Sazan) Island and the surrounding marine park.
The organizations are calling for an immediate halt to the project, estimated to cost 1.2 billion euros, due to risks to biodiversity and endangered species such as the Mediterranean monk seal Monachus monachus.
Ivanka Trump visited Albania with international architects to discuss investment programs.
