New Zealand: Woman Blown Across Road by Gale-Force Winds – Video

Shocking dashcam footage from New Zealand shows a woman being blown across a road by gale-force winds.

The video shows trees and streetlights shaking from the strong winds. A woman tries to stay upright, but the winds throw her into the air and drop her in the middle of the road.

Fortunately, drivers in two passing cars managed to brake in time.

The New Zealand Meteorological Service has issued a red alert for many regions, citing wind gusts up to 140 km/h and a 'serious risk to life from flying debris and falling trees'.

The west side of New Zealand has seen 100-180mm of rain in the last 24 hours.
