Larnaca: Pollution Dispersion Prevented After Boat Sinking

Pollution dispersion was prevented in the sea area of Larnaca marina, where a sailboat sank after a fire on Sunday, June 22.
The Port Authority, responding to a request from the Larnaca marina management, mobilized the tugboat VTS Ayia Marina and the anti-pollution vessel Aella.
After the sinking, the vessel Aella installed anti-pollution barriers and took actions to address the pollution, preventing its dispersion.
