Yellow Alert Issued for High Temperatures by Meteorological Department

The Meteorological Department has issued a new yellow alert for high temperatures. The alert will be in effect from 13:00 to 17:00.

The maximum temperature inland is expected to reach 41 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees Celsius in the higher mountainous areas.
