Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii Erupts for 31st Time in 9 Months

The Kilauea volcano in Hawaii, one of the most active volcanoes in the world, has erupted for the 31st time since December.
The activity was confined to the summit crater, posing no threat to residential areas. Visitors and residents had the opportunity to witness the event from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
Park volunteer Janice Wei described the sound of the lava as resembling an airplane engine and the heat as being felt from a great distance.
