Meltemia Return on Sunday - Temperature Rise Next Week

The meltemia winds return on Sunday, with a new rise in temperature expected next week. According to Theodoros Kolydas, the weather will be mostly clear in most areas tomorrow, Sunday, with temperatures not exceeding 33 to 35°C in the mainland.

A slight further drop in temperature is expected on Monday, while an increase is forecast from Thursday. The meltemia winds will prevail in the Aegean from Sunday to Thursday, with a maximum intensity of 6 to 7 Beaufort.

High temperatures were recorded across the country today, Saturday. The maximum temperature was recorded in Plora Heraklion at 38.9°C.
