Spectacular: Lava Fountain Reaches 300 Meters at Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii

Cameras captured a spectacular sight in Hawaii as the Kilauea volcano erupted, sending a fountain of lava 300 meters into the air.
Kilauea, one of the world's most active volcanoes, erupted on Sunday, with the episode lasting five hours. The U.S. Geological Survey reported that the eruption has now subsided.
This is the 36th incident recorded since late December 2024. Although populated areas are not directly threatened, authorities are warning of ash and volcanic gases that may affect people with respiratory problems.
