Daylight Saving Time 2026: When the Time Changes and How to Adjust
Share on:

Daylight saving time for 2026 is approaching, marking the transition to summer time. This measure, implemented in all countries of the European Union, aims to save energy by making better use of natural light.

The change will take place on Sunday, March 29, 2026. In the early hours of that day, at 03:00, clocks will move forward one hour, showing 04:00. This means we will lose one hour of sleep, but we will have more light during the day.

Daylight saving time will remain in effect until Sunday, October 25, 2026, when clocks will turn back one hour again to return to winter time.

Tips for adjusting:

  • Turn your clock forward from noon on Saturday.
  • Set the clock to the established time on Sunday after the time change.
  • If you feel tired, sleep a little (15-20 minutes) at noon.
  • Get at least seven hours of sleep the day before and after the time change.
  • Avoid staying up late.
