Eleftherios Petrounias won the gold medal at the Cairo World Cup in Artistic Gymnastics, confirming his dominance in the rings event.

With a total score of 14.366, the "Lord of the Rings" finished ahead of Avetisyan (Armenia) and Liu (China), who completed the podium.

This distinction adds to the rich palmares of the Olympic gold medalist of Rio, and two-time Olympian in Tokyo and Paris.
