Youth National Water Polo Team Wins Bronze at U18 European Championship

The Youth National Water Polo team won the bronze medal at the U18 European Championship, adding another medal to the successes of Greek water polo teams this year.
In the bronze medal match, Greece defeated Italy with a score of 12-11. After a tied first quarter and an Italian lead in the first half, the Greek team dominated the third quarter, with Dimitris Chatzis scoring all four goals of the period.
In the fourth quarter, Alessandrini gave Italy the lead (11-10), but Angelopoulos immediately equalized. Andreas Bitsakos scored the winning goal for Greece, securing the bronze medal.
