Vangelis Marinakis: €200,000 Bonus for National Water Polo Teams

Vangelis Marinakis will offer a €200,000 bonus to the men's and women's National Water Polo Teams, as announced by Isidoros Kouvelos, President of the Hellenic Olympic Committee.

The bonus is a reward for their successes at the World Championships in Singapore, where the women's team won the gold medal and the men's team won the bronze. Mr. Marinakis will offer €100,000 to each National team.

Mr. Kouvelos met with representatives of the two teams and expressed his gratitude for their achievements. Kyriakos Giannopoulos, President of the Hellenic Swimming Federation, thanked him for the offer.

Also present at the meeting were the coach of the National Women's team Haris Pavlidis, the captain Eleftheria Plevritou, and the players Maria Myriokefalitaki, Vaso Plevritou, Maria Patra, Sofia Tornarou, and Nefeli Krassa.
