Plans for the Construction of New Toumba Stadium Progress

PAOK FC has announced the commencement of procedures for the implementation of the New Toumba project. According to the announcement, the next steps will begin immediately, with construction starting as soon as the building permit is issued.

The administrative leader of PAOK FC, Ivan Savvidis, stated: "I am the one who started the idea of the New Toumba with actions and I will complete it. I keep my word, that is my way of life."

The steps taken so far include:

Granting of a 29-acre area by TETH and the Ministry of Finance (Law 4572/18).
Tender for the selection of a contractor for the special spatial plan.
Issuance of a Presidential Decree (PD) for the New Toumba, which includes new building conditions and land uses.
Selection of the Salfo – Populοus consortium as the contractor.
Preparation of topographic diagram, master plan, business plan and architectural studies.

The next steps include:

Maturation of studies (static, geotechnical, electromechanical and environmental).
Consultation with the technical services of the Region of Central Macedonia and the Municipality of Thessaloniki.
Obtaining approval decisions from the competent Ministries.
Communication with UEFA for advisory support.
Tender for the construction of the project.
Finding a stadium to host the team during construction.
Issuance of a building permit and commencement of construction.
