Athletics: Karalis and Nilsen Promise Spectacle at "Fly Athens" in Paiania

The Fly Athens Indoor event on Saturday, February 7th, will gather top names in world pole vaulting at the Olympic facilities in Paiania.
Emmanouil Karalis, the Olympic bronze medalist from Paris and national record holder at 6.08m, will face American Chris Nilsen, the Olympic silver medalist from Tokyo with a personal best of 6.05m.
The competition also includes Americans Keaton Daniel (5.82m), Czech David Holý (5.75m), and Frenchman Mathieu Collet (5.74m). The Greek representation is completed by Antonios Santas and Giorgos Papanastasiou.
The event begins at 14:00 with the girls' competition, continues with the boys' B competition at 16:30, and concludes with the international competition at 19:30. Admission is free.
The event will be broadcast live on ERT and Ertflix.
The meeting is part of the World Indoor Tour (Silver) series.
A pole vault seminar will be held on Friday (6/2).
