Sporting Lisbon Advances in Cup with Ioannidis as Star (video)

Sporting Lisbon advanced to the Round of 32 in the Portuguese Cup, with Fotis Ioannidis standing out. The international forward delivered an excellent performance, leading his team to the next stage.

Paços de Ferreira took the lead with a goal by Lumungo in the 18th minute. Ioannidis assisted Gonçalves for the equalizer. Paços de Ferreira then regained the lead with Victor scoring in the 49th minute, but Ioannidis equalized with a header from a Quenda corner in the 60th minute.

The game went into extra time, where Sporting scored the winning goal with an own goal by Ferreira.
