The president of Anorthosis, Kyriakos Prastitis, stated at the opening of the club's 115th-anniversary celebration that the team will survive and be reborn.

Specifically, Kyriakos Prastitis said: "Anorthosis is not just a simple football club, it is a kingdom which, although deserted today, will survive, will be reborn because history dictates it, the history of Anorthosis dictates it. In this bleak climate, a ray of warmth will rise again, strong, triumphant, and Anorthosis will flourish again."
