Olympiada Neapoleos vs Panionios in CEV Challenge Cup

Olympiada Neapoleos faces Panionios in a significant European match for the CEV WOMEN CHALLENGE CUP on Thursday, January 29th, at 7 pm. The match, as well as the return leg in Athens next Thursday, will determine qualification for the semi-finals of the competition.
The match is significant as it pits two teams with historical importance against each other. Panionios is linked to the Asia Minor Catastrophe, while Olympiada, in its 75-year history, seeks to keep alive the flame of returning to ancestral homes.
The President of Olympiada, Andros Michaelides, invited representatives of KOPE and other sports figures to attend the match. Referees will be Mr. Raymond Haamberg from the Netherlands and Mr. Stefano Cesare from Italy, with commissioner Mr. Sylvian Lungu from Romania.
Tickets will be available at the entrance of the TASSOS PAPADOPOULOS- ELEFTHERIA hall.
