Mourinho: 'I Don't Have Much Love for the Referee'

José Mourinho expressed his dissatisfaction with Simone Sozza's refereeing after Benfica's 0-1 defeat to Leverkusen in the Champions League.

The Benfica coach stated that he does not have much appreciation for Sozza and accused the referee of allowing Leverkusen to play in an unsportsmanlike manner. 'I don't like to complain for the sake of complaining, but for all the unsportsmanlike behavior they showed. I usually say that when a team has unsportsmanlike behavior, there is only one culprit: the referee,' Mourinho stated.

Despite the defeat, Mourinho said he was satisfied with his team's performance, stressing that they were better on the pitch but lacked a goal.
