Transfer Offer for Stelios Andreou Rejected

Widzew Łódź received an offer for Stelios Andreou but does not intend to release the player. According to information from Poland, Gent submitted an offer to acquire the 23-year-old international Cypriot defender on loan with an option to buy.

The Widzew management considered the possibility but decided to reject the offer, wanting to keep the existing roster unchanged. Andreou was acquired in the summer from Royal Charleroi and is under contract until June 2029. He has 14 appearances in all competitions.

Widzew considers the Cypriot international an important part of Igor Jovićević's plans and believes he can offer even more in the remainder of the season.
